I think it says J&TL but not sure
I have looked in my reference books to no avail
Thanks for any help
Also would I be right in thinking the date was around 1900?

I wonder if it might be James & Thomas Edwards, Burslem, 1839-41?

I just have a gut feeling the "E" may have been badly printed as eveything else fits.
