WMF / Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik (Germany)
Claret Jug No. 72, with optic-ribbed glass and silver-plated nickel silver mount, designed c.1900 or earlier. Illustrated in WMF's famous 1906 catalogue.
'Ikora' series bowl, form and colour combination 8004. 'Ikora' glass was in production between 1928 - 1951, however this specific bowl only features in the final 1951 catalogue.

Try looking at WMF, perhaps Ikora.

Thanks for the info John. I've been on the search and it does look very likely (hoping!) to be 30's Ikora, would never have found this trail on my own.

I've been in contact with Huub Geurts who has a website dealing in Art Nouveau/ Art Deco glass. I gained some good advice, that there is no doubt it's W.M.F Ikora glass, made around 1930 up to 1940. This style is quite common, made in different sizes (5 inch to 18 inch). The blue ones are apparently more rare and sort after.
