David and Simone McDowell
Poulshot Pottery, 1975, Poulshot, Devizes, Wiltshire
Lacock Pottery, 1987- Lacock, Wiltshire (with Nigel Wilkins from 1998 and Robert Irwin from 1999).


Deceased 2017

McDOWELL David A life well lived. Born 31st January 1947 died 21st August 2017. Art and pottery teacher at Devizes School 1971-1987 and at Lacock Pottery until 2017


Took over Lacock Pottery when Robert & Sheila Fournier retired.

NB. David Metcalf used a very similar DM stamp which can be found on his raku Viking helmets. (ID verified by Chris Brewchorne)
