Grateful for any thoughts about the green pottery object below - what was it intended to hold? Got a bit of age to it I think but no marks at all. 12cm in diameter.

I did wonder that, but thought it was maybe a bit too old, and also there’s nowhere obvious for the ash to fall? Tried Google Lens for the first time but it just threw up lots of green plastic stars.

It maybe a flower holder "frog" that sits in the bottom of a bowl, like the fairly
common "Cloud glass" ones.

Denbydump I’m leaning toward the gravestone artificial flowerholder - the five ‘legs” and the fact that it its decorated very ornately right down to the base suggests to me that it wasn’t intended to sit ‘in’ but ‘on’ something. I’ll do a bit more googling though
