Hi everyone

I wonder if any of you can help identify this piece of pottery?

It’s about 10cm in height with a dark lustre glaze and a relief pattern. The base mark is TH 74.

Thank you

Paul

Closest in the Marks book is Timothy Huckstepp, InTime Designs. He set up in Kent in 1977 but there's a chance it's a very early piece. I think he's still potting. Otherwise we'll just have to hope another one turns up with a label

Thanks Naomi.

Do you see any similarities in Terry Bell Hughes’ mark?

Thanks again

The thought did cross my mind; it's the sort of glaze he likes to use, and he's been potting since 1968. His TH mark in the book are in a shield shaped outline, aside from his written monogram which is a bit of a scribble, so if it is his then it's an unrecorded version. He must be in his 80s but I think he's still potting; his work is stocked by contemporaryceramics.uk. Best to ask him.

Thanks again Naomi.

Great advice as usual!
