Bowl with MS mark? Empty Bowl with MS mark?

This is the only other piece I have which I can’t identify other than the ‘Japanese mark’ and the blocked out red bowl but that’s never going to be ID.
please see photographs - I bought it with a St Ives Leach tile and the David Lane piece.
I think the Leach tile is from the 1930’s but I’ll keep that for the Leach thread.

Looks nicely made. Maybe signed MS ‘77 or ‘73
