Help with identifying the pottery type and origin
The jar (vase?) is 25cm across, 22 cm high. The two parts fit nicely (small piece is missing). The symbol is 運 (yùn) written in in semi-cursive. Not sure if the jar is broken or cut in half along the lut line. It has some wax-like material lining the inside wall of the top and bottom parts and the material is peeling off. There is stuck debris at the bottom of the lower part. Looks modern, decorative. Obtained in Singapore. Could not find similar jar or vase online. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help with identifying the pottery type and origin
Looks like an old storage jar. The name on the front could be the retailer/shop, or the owner/household if they were getting it regularly refilled. Maybe a museum would know more.

The symbol is 運 (yùn) written in in semi-cursive. It means 'luck' or 'fortune'
