'Werra' vase
Green vase 'bottle' with gilt decoration in multipe circle pattern - marked 'Werra' to base - I have googled and used the search facility to no avail - any ideas, I think its German.

Very striking.
I found reference to a "Creuzburg Werra Ceramics, G. Naumann Pottery. Manufacture of everyday ceramics, also on special orders. On prior booking we also carry out pottery courses". It might be from there.

VEB Gräfenroda, GDR, formerly Carstens factory at Gräfenroda, Thuringia,
East Germany. Werra is the name of a German river. Either company used names of rivers for jugs / handled vases.

Hi there
Just wondering I have collecting East German pottery for a while but can't seem to find list of companies that made pottery items.
Hope someone here might be able to help.

Re: Carstens Gräfenroda (East Germany)
there are pattern books from the factories and a few books that were written by collectors who own these pattern books
