Looks similar to the Rushton Pottery Celtic Designs, Isle of Man.

Yes, I seem to remember Rushton had glazed bases, and was fairly lightweight.

I was thinking Wellhouse Pottery but I think they use a terracotta clay rather than this grey one

Thank you for the photo, yes they do look similar, but think mine are a bit more rustic - some wonks and varying in size.
They do have a look of some Wellhouse ones I've had before too, but they were terracotta as you said Naomi.
Just weighed the cups and one was 230g and another 260g, which is quite weighty for their size (9cm tall). Surprised there's no markings at all, will have another look over them to make sure I've not missed something small.
