The monogram does look to me like a hobby potter mark. Is it heavy? the only thing I can tell you is that its an Indian Runner duck :)

Very light, for its size. Lightweight white earthenware body. I'm assuming it's raku

This is a very fine figure and it carries a signature, DR '03, but I can't identify the maker?  Any ideas please?  Whoever he or she is, clearly knows what he or she is doing.

I had a thought that DR could be for Dillon Rudge, son of Ernest Lawson Rudge. He usually makes models of cats in Raku, and I'm not sure 1993 works for him as I guess he is not old. Any thoughts on that?
