Help identifying a bowl - "Carters Ltd" ?

New member - first post. Glad to be here.

Attached please find 2 photos of a bowl I'm trying to ID. Height approx 10cm, diameter approx 18cm

Base has a what appears to be a time line stamped / written mark. 1st line appears to read "Carters Ltd" . 2nd line unfortunately illegible to my eyes.

Any insights or info gratefully received!

Pretty sure this is a Denby pottery bulb bowl, made for a florist or retailer,
They made a lot like this. Is there a single impressed letter somewhere on the
base which would confirm it?

No impressed letter to the base. Only visible marks are the two lines of text I mentioned.

Sometimes there is, but anyway pretty certain it is Denby. 1920s/30s.
