I don’t recognise it I’m afraid but I love it too - like a modern day Staffordshire piece.

I think it's truely horrific, which makes me wonder if it maybe one of Jo Lester's earlier pieces.

The glaze colours remind me of Rye Pottery but not one of their usual designs. Maybe by one of their ex-employees

Doubt you'll find any images of his figures online, they are rare (though to be honest also near worthless), If I find time i'll try and dig up one of mine at some point.

There were a number of ladies making human and animal figurines in a similar clay and decoration in the 50s-80s. Just have to wait for one to turn up with a label
