Spanish Albarelo Pharmacy Jar?

Hello, I have seen another piece like this online marked Artesa on the base, they had it listed as a pharmacy jar. I wondered if anyone had seen anything similar or knew of a possible date?

I’ve always thought these types of jars are pharmacy jars - Spanish or Italian usually. I couldn’t find a meaning for Kriempre ? on a quick Google. Usually they have a medicine or chemical type they hold. Made over a long period. Probably mid or later 20th C ?

Thanks Ben, I couldn't find anything for Kriempre either which I thought was odd!

Found a handful, and one for Arsenic, so presumably they've copied the word from a 19thC version that was mispelt

Ah, I've not found any more just like this one. Lots of similar kinds when Googling pharmacy jar. No idea what Kriempre is :)

I love a word puzzle. No evidence to back this up, but could it be KRIEN PRE not "m". There is no second descender for the m.
Krien could just possibly be an abbreviation of "krienas" for horseradish (Lithuanian word). And "pre" for "preparation".
By the way I know this sounds like mad gibberish. But, if there are NO refs to Kriempre does that not mean something?

Hi carolalev! I think it's just as likely to be an N, on the other jar I found it looks like an N. I couldn't find anything for Krienpre or Kriempre so it could be! The only thing about the word being Lithuanian is that based on the other pot saying Artesa on the base I think they're made in Ecuador.

Oh! Let me do some research into Ecuadorian!
