Cairo Ware, England - Royal Cauldon

I was just wondering about this vase




Its Cairo Ware but has no studio markings from the artist. IT also has a 'applied for registration mark'

Would anyone be able to shed any light on the artist or the lack of studio marks? Why does it have 'applied for registration' on the bottom?

Cairo ware, will be the name of the range or pattern. With England would be after 1891.
Strange there is no manufacturer, and no reference in Goddens.

Registration is to prevent copying.

The stamp was used by Royal Cauldron

You mean Cauldon?
Again no reference in goddens under Cauldon,
but will have been just one of many design/pattern names.
