Lidded jar Pleydell-Bouverie influence? Empty Lidded jar Pleydell-Bouverie influence?

I have had this lidded jar since a child in the 1970s.  The handle on the lid is sadly broken (my mum dropped it when dusting).  My mother always said she thought it was by someone very special and I suspect she meant Katherine Pleydell Bouverie but I don't know about the mark.  Any ideas?
