Black splatter ceramic vase 60s or 50s? Empty Black splatter ceramic vase 60s or 50s?

Hi everyone!
Thanks for letting me join ;-)
I am really struggling to identify this small vase my Mum gave me; it's 6" in height, but has no markings, just this rather mad splash design texture.
I can't decide if it's English, German, 60s, 70s or anything TBH and can't find anything at all online which seems odd.
Very grateful for any help in identifying.

I don' think it's British; more like Italian or German, but I could be wrong

Very likely to be German and from the late 50s, but without a number or mark, it will be like searching for a needle in a haystack.
You could start with this site which has a great photographic database of German ceramics of this era. Search by shape as well as pattern.
