Could this be of Japanese origin by any chance? Can’t shake the St Ives refs it has. À hommage perhaps?

I would be stunned if it turned out to have been made in Japan.
The handle isn't well made and the body of the jug looks heavy - was it coiled rather than thrown? A base image would help with that.
