Small vase - Signature to base that I'm trying to identify...

Hi again!

Attached pictures of a small vase approx 3" in height, written signature on base which I cannot identify as it's a bit unclear. Hoping the shape might mean something to someone on the Forum.

Would appreciate any help.

final attempt to improve shots!...I'll give up after that:)

Looks like a date on the right hand side but I can't make out the year. In the UK that often implies it's a student piece, especially as it's fired on stilts which points to a pre-1960s date or later student piece. Although there are countries like the US and Australia where a handwritten signature + date is more common.
