Soda glazed jug - fairly recent?
I’m running out of display space for my pots and am having to have a bit of a cull - this one is at risk because I can’t remember the maker! It was bought at Rufford Earth and Fire around 10 years ago. I have a vague recollection that the potter was an apprentice, maybe at Maze Hill - I seem to recall I bought this because I couldn’t afford a big Lisa Hammond jugI wanted! Nicely made and a striking glaze, it a bit too generic in form and decoration to find a match online. Any suggestions welcome!

Re: Soda glazed jug - fairly recent?
Sorry, just realised I hadn’t replied to this. I think Yo Thom had left by 2006 to set up her own pottery, and this was definitely a few years after that. Visiting Greenwich this weekend and by coincidence staying 2 minutes from the pottery, might pop in and ask!

Re: Soda glazed jug - fairly recent?
John Dawson lives nearby still but never worked at Maze Hill Pottery. He has also worked in porcelain, as long as I have known him, which is likely to be soon after he left Goldsmiths.
I suspect the most likely maker of the jug was Darren Ellis.
