uNUSUAL bLUE & wHITE pLATE SIGNED TO bASE???? - Davenport

Found this plate in a pile of other plates today it was a few pounds i liked the
details which reminded me of small leeches or some other animals.
The rim has a fairly undulating blue line also, The other side has an unusual
rim in my opinion not a type i have come across before. The middle has a dark
blue mark possibly Devonsure or similar hard to read it . The plate looks like it
may have a bit of age or might just be poorly made would love to find out more
about it if possible thanks for looking.

I read that makers's name as DAVENPORT. There is a 19th century Staffordshire pottery by the same name. So it may well be that. You just have to Google it for more info.
