Yes 8/10/1883. Probably Staffordshire with a bought-in pewter lid, but with no
other marks difficult to pin down. Nice piece anyway.

There's a complete list of the ceramic  diamond registration marks in JP Cushion's "Pocket Book of British Ceramic Marks".

Parcel 3 for  8/10/1883 was registered by Hall and Read of Hanley.  A rather short-lived company:
