Porcelain Spongeware Bowl - Age and Origin?
Dear Forum,
Attached please find 3 pics of a porcelain bowl - heavily spongeware decorated internally and externally. Base undecorated. Unmarked.
Height approx 3", Diameter at top 5"
Trying to get some insight as to possible age/origin if that is possible? Not the type of pot that I'm that au fait with!
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Potteryman
Thanks for your post. Agree, Scotland does feature in my thinking as well!
What interests me about the pot is the apparent freestyle randomness of the decoration! This initially caught my eye and I love it!
Age-wise was thinking late 19th C / early 20th C as a ballpark but happy to be guided by the collected wisdom and knowledge that is the forum!
Thanks again!
