Quick etiquette question? Empty Quick etiquette question?

Post by FaithfullJohn January 15th 2023, 9:01 am

Hello,

Beginners question: If I want to post regular different pots by a given potter, over days/weeks/months, should I post them all as updates under one original header topic (eg the potter's name)? Or is more useful/visible to start a new topic for each pot?

Sorry if this has been answered eslewhere.

John

If they are by the same potter then post them all on the one thread. If they are by different potters then start a new thread for each one.
Double check if we already have a thread for the potter (there’s a Search field in the top right hand corner of the page). We merge threads if there are several for the same potter - usually happens when someone posts a pot for identification in the ‘Identify my pottery’ section and it’s moved & merged when it’s IDed

It would certainly be nice to have a lot more Scottish potters. They are decidedly unrepresented on here!
