Ventnor, IoW - LB mark
I've come across a few Ventnor pieces with an LB or BL monogram attributed to Ian Saul. Are they by him? If so, what does the LB stand for? Currently a couple of pin dishes with penguins online (google "A Pair Of Vintage Studio Pottery Dishes By Ventnor, Isle Of Wight, Ian Saul"), and this one with different handwriting

The first wares made by Ian Saul at this Ventnor Pottery were called Brechin Ware. I don't know about the L though.

I would doubt they are by Saul, but no idea who they are by.
