Off my beaten track is this 6” diameter porcelain plate. Fluted edge gilt band decoration. No marks. Wondered if I could tap the collective knowledge as to thoughts on maker, age etc

Had some suggestions that decoration is reminiscent of Minton but alas no mark to support that idea!

Do you have a close-up of the decoration and the back? My first impression was Japanese transferware.

Another suggestion has been Spode. Apparently this type of almost abstract blue-white decoration was a feature of some family commissioned pieces…
