Hungarian ceramic figurine, - Ary Keramiá
A few years ago I found this figurine at a flea market, and have since been trying to find out who made it. It is marked "Hungary" and has a monogram stamp, which I've not been able to decipher (I think the last letter might be a "y"). I was hoping that someone here might know more or can refer me to a website with Hungarian ceramic marks (because I haven't been able to find one). The figurine is 30cm in height. Thanks! :D

Possibly, but no information on that name. I had that same suggestion on facebook, but is not getting me any closer to who the artist/potter is.

Well, someone posted another figurine on facebook, which had a sticker that says "Ary Keramiá", so Ary seems to be right. A quick search on google revealed another figure. If the 3 figures so far indicate any pattern, it seems this potter liked people from the Middle East/Africa as his/her subject matter.
