Brown glazed Chinese jar with inscription. Hoping to find out age etc

Brown glaze jar. Unglazed in a band above the foot. Glazed internally. Chinese inscription to belly. Height 4”, widest diameter 5.5”

Any info thoughts etc gratefully received!

I suspect it was for holding some sort of condiment, and it's the contents and the supplier's name on the front
