Gingerbread Man and Balloon Cookie Jar with Wooden Lid

This jar is signed but I can't make out what the last name says, first name is Kristen.
Glossy orange glaze with bare section in the middle with no glaze and incised design.
I'm not sure if the wooden cover is original or not, looks quite amateurishly done, maybe that's just the style of it.
There is only one balloon on the whole jar.
Anyone?

Thank you so much bud for this ID! So the second name which I initially thought was her last name is actually the town "Solvang."
I was actually just in Solvang this past summer too!
