I think it's Australian or NZ. The second mark might be a Lyrebird's tail but it's not the recorded mark for Lyrebird Pottery.
David Binch, Oakwood Ceramics, used a similar X mark but his X was inset where as this looks raised.

I believe the cross or button mark is for Bryce Stevens, New Zealand. Some bio from NewZealandPottery.net
. Bryce Stevens established his pottery on the Coromandel Peninsula in 1969, calling it "Tapu Creek Potteries". At some stage he moved to Hamilton and taught, working out of a space in the old Claudelands Railway station… Bryce Stevens seems to have eventually moved back to the Coromandel to set up another pottery where he passed away still quite young.
