This might have been something fired in the Oxford University kiln when the Keelings were involved with the kiln. Do you remember when it was bought from the gallery and how it was described?

It might also be by Jepson. His work is still sold in the Octagon Gallery

Hi It was bought after the tsunami - and I was given little leaflets about the following potters and believed it and another which has no mark were related to the pots - the names are Okada Yasushi (Hagi), Gas Kimishima, Shinich Honma and Kudo Takumi
I have asked Octagon but they could not help. This would all have been before the kiln in Wytham was built.

If it going to be one of these four then Yasushi Okada and Takumi Kudo can be eliminated.

I haven't seen any of Gas's work for maybe 20 years and can't find any images on the internet but it could be one his or that of Shinichi Honma.
