Stoneware tea light lantern impressed SP mark Empty Stoneware tea light lantern impressed SP mark

Can anyone help with this wheel-thrown, reticulated lantern? Ovoid shape with triangular and circular perforations. Comes in two around the centre. Came as part of a collection bought on Marketplace from a seller in Eastbourne. Stands about 7" tall, 5" wide. Has an impressed SP mark.Stoneware tea light lantern impressed SP mark Img_2010

I don't think so. Different font and I've not found any pierced pots by him

That was what I thought, but I'm now less convinced. Something about the proportions of the letters is off. I'm not familiar enough with his work to comment on style or techniques used.
