Need help identifying this saxophone playing figurine 640-fi10

This and the other figurine both belonged to my Mother and that's all I know about them!
I don't have the measurements but if memory serves me it's about 12 - 14" tall!
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

It's Saxony Germany and possibly Potschappel Factory founded by Carl Thieme 1872 onwards.

The style of the figure looks more like Capodimonte from the late 20thC. Or might be a Chinese copy

I agreed with you and that suggests to me that it is a recent Chinese copy. These often have marks to suggest that they are something that they are not but, just slightly different, so they can't be classed as fakes.

The crown N mark was never copyrighted and can be used by anyone, but the details on this figurine suggest Italian to me, rather than a knock-off of anything.
