Cute little vase, clear mark, not able to identify - A and a fish? Empty Cute little vase, clear mark, not able to identify - A and a fish?

A cute little vase with a swipe decoration.

Bought in a lot labelled "St Ives and other pottery from Cornwall"

The mark is very clear, but hard to interpret.

Anybody got any ideas?
