Good morning,
I bought this bowl even further south than my previous posting. There were items in the auction by David Leach and by John Davidson.
I was pretty sure prior to purchasing it’s not DL in either style or fluting so I thought John Davidson but I’m pretty sure it’s not his style either.
The mark is difficult because it is on a curve and to me it looks like a D but I’m ambivalent about that having thought incorrectly previously!
To me the bowl has some quality about it.

I think it's an R mark
