Think this is British but…….

Naomi will probably say it’s John Smith from Clacton, the mists will clear and it will be obvious the mark was JS.

Anyway bought in the South West - looks new and to me it’s got the feel of not being Japanese!
That said the mark is made of lines from what I can see of it so I wouldn’t rule it out and if there’s nothing forthcoming here I will try the Japanese version of this site!!

There are four pieces two tea pots two Yunomis / chawans.
Only two of the marks are worth having a look at.
If anyone knows of a potter in the South West producing this type of pottery I would be grateful to know as it would be a good starting point!
