Mystery vase - is this Jean Besnard?
Hello! Would love to get any thoughts from folks about this vase I picked up yesterday. Could be Jean Besnard ? Or an imitator? It is unsigned but definitely a quality maker, beautiful balance in the hand.
I would love to hear opinions and also what to do to have it properly authenticated. Auction houses? Dealers?
Thanks so much for any help or advice !

I believe it’s modern Chinese decorator’s ware, made to look old

Thank you for your reply Naomi! Would you mind giving me a steer as to what you are looking at to know? Is it the unglazed interior? Now that I look at it it does seem a little pristine. But if you have any links you might have or images of the decor ware you are talking about? I'm not doubting you're right, I just couldn't find any image matches other than Jean Besnard....it still looks cool so even it is is repro / modern I would imagine i would have been able to find the same or similar model somewhere.
I was sure it is a studio piece - coil pot form, drip glaze, hand incised scraffito and a nice blance to it. It doesn't have a mass produced feel. But if the raised dots on the inside and the raw terracotta are tells I guess I was wrong. I'd just love to hearore about it because I need to learn my lessons ;)
Thank you again
