It looks as though a potter might have used a felt tip marker or something. Although it is not clear from the photo if it is indented. Where did you get it? As often pottery often comes from local sources.

Do you have another photo of the mark? Maybe photograph it a bit further away. I think it's an incised FR mark with a back to front F but I'm not certain

Thank you. I'm afraid it's not a mark I've come across before. If you have 6 items then it's possible they are by a hobby potter; possibly the owner of the house or a member of their family

The rest of the pottery is mid century eastern German.

The two prongs down the bottom remind of Phil Rogers PR mark. He was a Welsh potter at Rhayader of course.

Not his style of pot, and the mark looks incised rather than stamped
