12 inch stoneware platter freely glazed in brown, grey and white TG GT mark

I found this stoneware platter today. I see that Terry Godby used a similar TG moniker but nothing of his that I can see of his on this forum or elsewhere online looks similar. However, I learn from this forum that Godby worked at Eeles Pottery before setting up on his own and I noticed a Simon Eeles bud vase on Ebay that is slightly reminiscent of my platter and I wondered if maybe Godby made my platter while at Eeles. Or maybe I am barking up the completely wrong tree! I would be pleased to be enlightened.

I think it's by someone with a GT monogram, but not by Godby. His mark looked like a G and he carried on decorating his pots in the Eeles Pottery style
