Very Unusual Heavy Amethyst Sgraffito Vase????

Picked this out from a selection of vases as i thought it might have something about it
i loved the weight if the decor was a bit dull and impossible to photograph, Appears to be a sort
of Art Nouveau floral decoration but has some accents that remind me of Oriental pieces i have
owned in the past. The base is quite crude in its finish almost like it has had the glaze go over
the base and someone has used something to scratch it away in places, The pottery? if it is pottery
is an unusual white clay with darker areas of almost sort of bubbling under a jewellers loop hard
to explain really. Really good weight to it to. Some iridescence to the top of the amethyst color
in parts . stands 11" approx. Would love to have any help on origins as it seems an old piece to me?
