Cherubs 17” charger, continental
Spanish, Italian?
Doesn’t look so old, maybe mid or later 20th C

Is it stoneware? Those little figures look interesting. But one cannot see much detail in the photo. Style if dress, what they are doing might give some clue as to where they were made.

Style of dress? Possibly a few drapes or nothing at all. Central panel is playing music. Border is frolicking with fruit and flowers. But perhaps not cherubs as I can’t see wings. Naked children? Playing with fruit and partying. I’m not sure Philpot if it’s stoneware or not. Possibly not.

Those are Nymphs. Minor deities in Greek religion and culture. Often associated with fertility, wine and such like. Its probably from A Greek area. Or one associatedt with Greek culture. Posh tourist ware? Cyprus, Crete, Rhodes, Corfu or the like. My Bet might be Cyprus. Bu then again...I don't bet

Well done. I need to know my nymphs from my cupids. Pretty basic understanding of anatomy and history would help me. Thanks!

this is majolica or french barbotine, for sure. i suspect it is german but i want to do more research on this.
