It looks very familiar. I wondered if it was by Mohamed Hamid after he left Aldermaston, or Vellow Pottery, but not their usual mark

certainly has that feeling. I'm going through my collection in a pre-retirement attempt to save the children a job. My labels such as 'great shape', 'delicately potted', 'unusual glaze' or even 'gnarly dudes' aren't likely to help them much !

my part of the world. Bought direct from Nic Collins at the last one some years ago. Prize that day was a large smoke fired vase by Chuck Schwartz - still makes me happy. Took about 5 years for the smoky smell to dissipate !! Regret - should have taken more money and bought some Sven Bayer.

I was lucky to find a set of Chuck Schwartz pots at an antiques barn. The dealer didn't know what they were so I got them for a bargain price
