Well it looks like it reads "C. H. & CO", but I can't see it in Goddens.

I’m sure I’ve seen the decoration sometime in the dim and distant past too! It looks and feels familiar but I just can’t place it. Must be my age…!

Could it be G.H. or G.M. as the first C isn't the same shape as the C of Co.

The style and colours look a little like Edith Gaters tubelined work. Not related to Gater and Hall. I don't think.

I read it as CM&co. What comes to mind is Clayton Mayers &co, which was basically an import/wholesale company, focussed on glassware but also did pottery. Have not seen this mark before though, so just filling in blanks.
