Hi. I bought a mixed lot at auction and it included this attractive little vase with an art deco design. Glazing is crazed but otherwise in good condition. Can’t make out the makers mark. Any ideas much appreciated. Small vase with illegible mark F656ab10

Well it looks like it reads "C. H. & CO", but I can't see it in Goddens.
The deco decoration seems familiar somehow.

I’m sure I’ve seen the decoration sometime in the dim and distant past too! It looks and feels familiar but I just can’t place it. Must be my age…!

Could it be G.H. or G.M. as the first C isn't the same shape as the C of Co.

Gater Hall and Co

The style and colours look a little like Edith Gaters tubelined work. Not related to Gater and Hall. I don't think.

I read it as CM&co. What comes to mind is Clayton Mayers &co, which was basically an import/wholesale company, focussed on glassware but also did pottery. Have not seen this mark before though, so just filling in blanks.

I had considered a retailer/wholesaler, but I'm still seeing CH.
