Penguin Figurine with White Crackle Finish
I have this cute penguin piece with white crackle finish and brown with visible "brushed strokes".
I have seen this glaze combo on a few other mid century pieces but forgot what the name was and this one has a mark on the bottom but I can't read it.
My guess is it's from one of those 1950s pottery makers in California.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated!
THanks.

Re: Penguin Figurine with White Crackle Finish
I think I was able answer my own question on this one. It's got to be Brayton Laguna as no other pottery maker has this specific combo of white crackle and brown with brush stroke texture.
