Large wooden carved Victorian Dolphin Bench with a storage compartment in the seat. This was found by my grandparents in the first house they rented in the 1950s/1960s with no other known history. No maker's marks on the bench inside or out.

Any information that can help me identify this would be amazing. Thank you!
