Asking for a friend - and not able to get a picture of underneath (until the set is next visited) but wondered if anyone here could give some clues what to search for to find out more.

Best to try the Gotheborg website of 20thC Chinese and Japanese marks. Looks like Canton/Hong Kong medallion ware
