I do not think it is by Peter Dick. The slipware is a bit simplistic, and Toby Jugs being rather common, they do not give a good monetary return. There were relatively few British Studio potters that consistently made a living out of slipware. Those those that did were very good at it. This looks a bit too simple for one of them.

Thanks Phil,I've just come across one in the Laurence Sterne Trust which looks remarkabley like mine,albeit with his backstamp.

As a side bar. Most British studio potters tend to use Iron rich Fremington Devon clays. So they tend of look rather more reddish than the bottom of this piece.
