Naively decorated shallow dish. Trying to ascertain age & origin Empty Naively decorated shallow dish. Trying to ascertain age & origin

A heavily decorated shallow dish, 8.5” in diameter.

Decoration within central purple region is in relief. Lightly fluted “pie crust” rim.

Heavily crazed at the rear with an illegible mark. (Possibly decorators mark). Possibly porcelain.  

Trying to ascertain possible age and origin. All thoughts gratefully received!

Has been suggested to me that this may be an Iznik piece? Not an expert and would appreciate the forums thoughts as always!

I don’t think so. European is far more likely, or possibly Japanese.
It’s tubelined and looks late 19thC - early 20thC. The flower might be Edelweiss. Austrian maybe?
