Studio Sgraffito Slipware Plate - French? Empty Studio Sgraffito Slipware Plate - French?

A hand made red clay plate with slip and sgraffito decoration. Measures 21cm diameter. There is an inscribed signature which is a bit tricky to read… I think it looks like it starts with a ‘v’ and ends in ‘y’? Maybe second letter ‘a’? Anyone recognise?
