Possible unsigned John Glick vase?
Hello!
I purchased this vase a couple days ago. Doing a Google Image search, I found a webpage listing a similar-looking vase by John Glick.
The webpage I found shows this example:
(From Jonnys Antiques - Ceramics)
The one in the link does not appear to have a crackle glaze, but it does seem to have a similar style of copper applied to the top and a similar black base-colour. Of course, mine does not have the signature. Perhaps I am being too hopeful?
Other opinions would be appreciated. :)

I think you just said it yourself. You are being too optimistic. It is Crackle glaze pottery. Do a Google image search of that phrase and you get a vast number of pieces. Just because you get one photo of f a famous potters work that looks a bit like yours. It does not mean it is!
