Huge flagon, crossed keys & D mark - Zoe and Jan Ellison?

I would appreciate thoughts about the maker of this huge flagon, which arrived in the same way as many of my pots - it was at our (very) local auction and I felt sorry for it as no-one else wanted it! It was described as ‘continental, early 20th century’ but the clay body and mark make me think British - bit I can’t trace the mark in the book. Any thoughts? Thanks

That’s brilliant thank you - I had the mark as trees/leaves which is probably why I had no luck pk tracing it down! A new pottery for me, I’ll do a bit of research.

It’s not an exact match for their mark so I’ll add a ? to the name for the time being

Hi Naomi - no, when I went back and compared more closely I don’t think it’s a match - my mark definitely has the same symbol at each of the four points of the cross, not the opposite ends of a key. I’ll keep looking!
